Advertisement for confetti manufactured by the paper company J. & E. Bella in London
Ardent affichomaniaques, the owners of Bella paper company organized posters exhibitions at the Royal Aquarium, London, in 1894 and 1896. They used Lautrec’s charming poster not only to advertise their new paper confetti but also as the frontispiece to the catalogue of their 1894 exhibition.
